Dr. Minson’s keynote, “Behavioral Science of Disagreement: Building Trust Across Divides,” will focus on communication and stakeholder involvement in the face of difficult decisions and conflicting priorities. Following her keynote presentation, Dr. Minson will facilitate a panel discussion with members who will share their experiences and takeaways.
Dr. Minson is a decision scientist with research interests in conflict, negotiations, judgement and decision making. Her primary specialty is in engaging those who hold differing views from one’s own, addressing conflicts that arise in areas such as politics, professional decision making and lifestyle choices. At the Kennedy School, Julia is affiliated with the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, the Center for Public Leadership, and the Taubman Center for State and Local Government.
