CARES Provider Relief Fund Reporting Begins: Webinars Available

July 1, 2021

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has begun the process for hospitals and providers to report their use of funding received from the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund (PRF). The reporting portal has been open for registration and available for reporting effective July 1. The initial reporting period ending September 30, 2021, will be for funds received in the initial PRF distributions and used by June 30, 2021. While HHS has provided information on reporting requirements and a set of frequently asked questions, some questions remain. In addition, WSHA has compiled a summary of changes to the reporting requirements, considerations, and timelines.

HHS is hosting a technical assistance webinar on July 8th at 12:00 pm PT. You can register for the webinar and submit advance questions here.

PYA, a healthcare consulting and accounting firm, is offering a complimentary webinar “Latest Update – Provider Relief Fund Reporting Requirements” on Wednesday, July 21 at 8 a.m. PT. The webinar will address key questions, such as lost revenue calculations and portal navigation. Click here for more information and to register for that webinar. (Andrew Busz, AndrewB@wsha.org)
