Be sure to mark your calendar for WSHA’s 85th Annual Member Meeting Thursday Oct. 12 at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront! This year’s meeting will be one day, with the annual Governance Education Day to follow at the Marriott on Friday Oct. 13. This year’s PAC appreciation dinner will be Oct. 11. WSHA’s room block is now open and you can make your reservation using WSHA’s group rate online or by calling 206-443-5000 or 1-800-455-8254 (toll free) and asking for the WSHA room block. The reservation deadline is Sept. 18. Registration for both events will open after Labor Day.
This year’s plenary speakers will include Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel (Joint Appointment, Wharton School and School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Founding Chair, Clinical Center of the NIH Former Special Advisor on health policy, Office of Management and Budget) and Health Leads CEO and Co-Founder Rebecca Onie.
