Best Wishes for Two Retiring Member Hospital Chief Financial Officers

December 16, 2015

WSHA gave a fond farewell to two retiring member hospital Chief Financial Officers at its recent meeting of the WSHA Chief Financial Officer Advisory Group.

Julie Meek, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, will retire at the end of this year. Julie is one of the longest tenured hospital CFOs in the state, having worked in hospital finance for 38 years. She served as the top financial leader at Kadlec for 30 years.  Lori Mitchell, Chief Financial Officer of Harborview Medical Center, is also retiring at the end of the year after many years of service at UW Medicine, including a term as the National Chair of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Both Julie and Lori have served on numerous WSHA task forces and advisory groups over the years.  Congratulations Julie and Lori on your remarkable careers! (Mary Kay Clunies-Ross)
