Annual Meeting speaker spotlight: Chris McChesney

September 19, 2019

Chris McChesney is the co-author of the world’s best-selling book on strategy execution. He is the Global Practice Leader of Execution for FranklinCovey Co. and one of the primary developers of “The 4 Disciplines of Execution.” For more than a decade, he has led FranklinCovey’s ongoing design and development of these principles. To better tailor his presentation to our members, he is asking our members what they wish their hospital were better at. Let Chris know in a few one-word answers.

Chris will give the closing plenary session at WSHA’s Annual Meeting Oct. 9 at The Hyatt Regency Lake Washington in Renton. Along with Chris, we will also welcome NPR social correspondent and “Hidden Brain” podcast host Shankar Vedantam and author Barbara Ehrenreich.

Governance Education Day will follow the Annual Meeting on Oct. 10. This year we will also host our first-ever Advocacy Bootcamp at The Hyatt Oct. 8. Attendees at the bootcamp will get the inside scoop on how to advocate effectively on health care issues in Olympia, including hearing from lawmakers and lobbyists.
