Help with Hospital Bills
Washington's hospitals are committed to ensuring patients get the hospital care they need regardless of their ability to pay for that care. Providing health care to those that cannot afford to pay is part of the mission of Washington's hospitals.
Washington State's hospital financial assistance guidelines are among the most wide-reaching in the nation. All Washington hospitals offer financial assistance, commonly referred to as charity care, to low- and moderate-income patients. Depending on income, low- and moderate-income patients can receive free or reduced price hospital care.
Patients can get financial assistance whether or not they have insurance.
If you are a patient and need financial assistance, please contact the hospital where you received services and ask for their billing office.
