Medicare Ambulatory Care Use in Washington State, Radiological Services (December 2011)
The Washington State Hospital Association developed a series of reports on outpatient utilization using several sources of data. The first reports in the series were created using commercial and Medicaid data from a five county region of the Puget Sound. The latest series sutilizes a Medicare database is based upon a use sources of outpatient information.
The Excel tables below are designed for use in further analysis. They are data tables and not reports; thus, they are best used by analysts (financial, planning, policy, et cetera). Please note that these are large data files and may take a while to open.
Puget Sound Region Medicaid and Commercial Report
The tables include utilization by the beneficiaries of 14 health plans in the Puget Sound area. The data is organized by residence of the beneficiary, cross tabbed with the broad location of service delivery, use rates, and a distinction between hospital and non-hospital providers.
