ICD-10 and HIPAA 5010 for the Executive Suite: Are You Prepared?

WEB CAST

Thursday, January 20th | 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

Hospitals and health care in Washington State are facing large changes over the next several years due to the implementation of ICD 10 (International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems 10th Revision) and HIPAA Version 5010.  These changes will have a major impact on information and billing systems.  While some health systems are well along in preparation, others have only just begun to prepare.  To make matters more difficult, it is easy to miss some key components needed to smooth the transition as these changes impact so many facets of day-to-day operation.

Please join us for a web conference on Thursday, January 20th from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. to discuss the following questions:

Presenters include Jim Cannon, Executive Director of WSHA’s Health Information Program and representatives (to be announced) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society and the Washington State Health Information Management Association.

Participation in the web conference is free.  All hospital employees are welcome to participate.   All you need is a computer with an Internet connection and a telephone. If you want the slides in advance, they will be available on WSHA’s website the morning of the web conference.

We hope you can join us!
