"CEO Succession Readiness in Washington State Hospitals - The Results Are In!"

Please join WSHA and Moss Adams for a report on the state of CEO succession planning in Washington State hospitals.  During this one-hour session we will discuss the results from the recent WSHA/Moss Adams survey on succession readiness and explore the best practices coming out of Washington State as well as discuss where Washington State compares to emerging succession practices at a national level.

We will discuss how hospitals are documenting their succession plans, assigning accountability for documentation and implementation, which implementation activities are most utilized and how communication strategies effect successful leadership transitions.  We will also explore Washington States’ “attitude” around succession and discuss how attitudes drive planning and implementation.

If you participated in the WSHA/Moss Adams succession readiness survey or if you are interested in learning more about succession, this session will give you a broad overview of how hospitals are addressing the critical need for leadership in their organizations today and how they are planning for tomorrow.
