Washington Recovery Help Line extends services

January 28, 2021

Alcohol and other substance use, including overdoses, are on the rise across Washington State. In response, the Washington Recovery Help Line has extended its medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) services. Beginning this month, the Help Line will have a MOUD specialist available after hours from 12a.m. – 7:30a.m. to help individuals access care. The MOUD specialist can talk directly with patients and work with hospital providers and staff to connect patients with appropriate SUD treatment options.

The Help Line is available at +1(866)789-1511 and is a key resource to support people experiencing substance use disorders (SUDs), problem gambling and/or mental health difficulties. For more information, please view the WA Recovery Help Line website, the MOUD Locator, and the Washington Help Line flyer.
