PQAC announces routine pharmacy inspections to resume “soon”

The Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (PQAC) announced that “PQAC inspectors will be resuming routine inspections soon.” The forthcoming inspections will be the first inspections carried out to ensure compliance with the new pharmacy regulations in chapter 246-945 WAC that took effect July 1, 2020. The announcement recommends facilities review PQAC’s webpage or “contact your pharmacist inspector to find everything you need to ensure compliance with the new rules adopted on July 1, 2020.” Please contact PQAC with specific questions regarding the resumption of pharmacy inspections.
