The deadline for open enrollment is now less than two weeks away, and the Washington Health Benefit Exchange is welcoming collaboration in a final awareness campaign. The exchange has launched #GetCoveredWA, with the goal of getting all Washingtonians to finalize coverage for 2019 by Dec. 15, including health and dental plans. If your hospital is interested in contributing to this initiative, there are several paths for getting involved.
The Washington Healthplanfinder is available as a tool to provide to customers for streamlining the enrollment process. Washington Healthplanfinder has also released an Outreach Best Practices toolkit for organizations that want to raise awareness around open enrollment. The toolkit is a great resource to provide a starting point for an awareness campaign or to strengthen an existing strategy. It includes general tips, key open enrollment messages, enrollment center best practices, event planning advice and marketing strategies.
