Nominations due Aug. 23 for WSHA’s Community Health Leadership Award

August 15, 2018

Registration is now open for WSHA’s Annual Meeting in October, which also means it’s time to make nominations for WSHA’s 2018 Community Health Leadership Award, which will be given out at the Annual Meeting October 11 in Seattle.

Make your nomination now on the WSHA website! Nominations are due August 23.

The Community Health Leadership Award is given at WSHA’s Annual Meeting to a health care organization that is serving its community’s broader health needs in innovative and lasting ways. All qualifying nominees will have their projects featured:

  • In a press release to the news media
  • During the WSHA Annual Meeting
  • Online at www.wsha.org
  • In WSHA’s Weekly Report newsletter, which is sent to nearly 4,000 subscribers

This is a great opportunity to showcase your work in your community, and to recognize those who make your programs happen.

WSHA’s Hospital Governing Boards Committee will select a winner (or winners) at its September 6 meeting. Only WSHA members are eligible for the award, and nominations are welcome from anyone for programs approved by the hospital or system CEO. One program per hospital, please.

We hope you will join us in this annual tradition and celebrate the great work being done across our state! Please contact me or Assistant Director of Communications Tim Pfarr with questions.

Sincerely,

Rhonda Curry
