Meridian Leasing Offers Insight into Achieving XR-29 CT Radiology Compliance

August 24, 2016

In April of 2014, the Protecting Access to Medicare Act was signed into law. Part of the law stated that the outpatient and physician reimbursement for certain diagnostic CT scans will be reduced by 5 percent in 2016 and a further 15 percent in 2017 if a CT system is not compliant with XR-29 guidelines, which require controls to protect patients from excessive exposure to radiation. Washington Hospital Services Industry Partner Meridian Leasing has produced a two-page document that offers insight for members that may be dealing with this transition. You can read the full article here. To learn more about Meridian Leasing or any of our Industry Partners, please either visit our website or contact Paul Unsworth at (206) 577-1806. (Paul Unsworth)
