Using telemedicine to help expand access to psychiatric services

Washington State has made significant advances in expanding access to telemedicine-based care, passing telemedicine bills in 2015 and 2016 with WSHA’s strong support and advocacy. Washington Hospital Services Industry Partner InSight has written a bulletin exploring how telemedicine — specifically telepsychiatry — can help bring psychiatric care to places where it is not readily available.
