September 20, 2022

We are just under a month away from WSHA’s 2022 Annual Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington! In-person slots are still available, though you can also attend virtually. Register online now. We are especially excited about our keynotes this year: Dr. Michele Harper, Daniel Dawes, J.D., and Dr. Amer Kaissi.

Dr. Harper is an award-winning physician, New York Times bestselling author and nationally recognized speaker whose work centers on individual healing and social justice. She is an advocate of personal wellness and evolution as a foundation for collective liberation. Her book, “The Beauty in Breaking,” focuses on how facing hardship with integrity can lead to healing ourselves and others.

Daniel Dawes is a widely respected health care and public health leader, health policy expert, educator and researcher who serves as executive director of the Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine and a professor of health law, policy and management in the Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine. His book, “The Political Determinants of Health,” discusses how policy and politics influence the social conditions that generate health outcomes.

Dr. Kaissi is a professional speaker, a certified executive coach and an award-winning professor of health care administration at Trinity University. His book, “Humbitious: The Power of Low-Ego, High Drive Leadership,” shatters the myth that arrogant, over-confident people are better leaders.

These keynotes are sure be enlightening and thought-provoking, and we hope you will be able to join us! You can also review the complete schedule of events, which includes social time for networking with your peers.

Sincerely,
