340B Program Recertification Deadline is September 12

The annual 340B program recertification period for hospitals, including Critical Access Hospitals ends September 12, 2018. Covered Entities must recertify every year through the 340B Office of Pharmacy Affairs Information System (OPAIS) to continue participating in the 340B Drug Pricing Program.  WSHA urges 340B eligible hospitals to recertify before September 12 to maintain eligibility for 340B discounts.

The federal Health Resources and Services Administration provides online information and tutorials for recertifying on the Office of Pharmacy Affairs Information System (OPAIS) system website at https://340bopais.hrsa.gov/.
