2020 flu vaccine for the childhood and adult vaccine programs

October 15, 2020

The Washington State Department of Health (DOH), in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is initiating an enhanced influenza vaccination campaign as a critical part of COVID-19 response work. Increasing influenza vaccination coverage is an essential step to decreasing stress on the health care system at a time when SARS-CoV-2 is expected to be circulating.

The Childhood Vaccine Program provides vaccine to participating providers for all children younger than 19. All providers enrolled in the Childhood Vaccine Program receive a publicly supplied vaccine at no cost to patients. Find provider enrollment and ordering information on the Childhood Vaccine Program webpage.

The Adult Vaccine Program provides vaccines to participating providers and adults 19 years and older who are uninsured or underinsured. The Adult Vaccine Program User Manual provides more information regarding the program and is located on the Adult Vaccine Program webpage. To place an Adult Vaccine Program influenza order, make sure your facility is enrolled in the Adult Vaccine Program and then submit an order using the 2020-2021 Adult Vaccine Program Influenza Order Form.
